I has recently combined forces with a few very talented and well-experienced players in the fashion industry. We now not only specialise in make-up, but also in professional hair styling.
Lori Mauerberger recently received the contract to be the sole Make-up Artist and Hair stylist for the Face of Africa Event in July 2005. We also have experience locally and abroad in the Wedding and Fashion industries(Magazine shoots, film shoots, Special Events, Charity Events, Fashion shows, etc). We were also asked to assist with hair and make-up at the 2005 "Night of a 100 Star s" at the Artscape Opera House in October, do regular work with Femina magazine, have courses running at school and attending ongoing Events with Celebrity Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists and traveling overseas extensively also keeps us one step ahead.

We prefer and recommend a trial to all our clients, because that gives us a chance to see what your style is and you get the chance to see ours. Here is a layout of what happens during the trial and your Wedding day:

1. For the trial we would love you to get a couple of ideas of what you would like for your hair and/or make-up: The 'look'. If you see an ice pic in a magazine, take it out and show us! We would also like to know what your Wedding gown is going to look like, your colour scheme at the Wedding and the type of wedding. All these bits of info help us get an idea of your style and what would suit you in terms of hair, make-up and styling on your Big Day.

2. We will then give you our professional advice(after analyzing your hair type, skin and colouring) and then bring the two aspects together.

3. During the trial(s) (hair and/or make-up) we will have the opportunity to play around with different lo oks - styles for your hair, make-up applications and colours, etc. - until you are perfectlyhappy with the outcome!( It is obviously our aim to make your day even more perfect and much less stressful!)

4. During the trial I will also do an eyebrow shaping that will give your eyebrows their perfect shape. You will only be required to keep it in shape until the day of the Wedding. On the day of the Wedding I will not do shaping, due to redness caused on the photos - and that is the last thing we want!

5. The main aim with the trial is to help your Big Day run as smooth as possible! We will be at your location 20 min. before we have to start to make sure everything is set in its perfect place once we begin. On the day of the Wedding we go the extra mile with the bride's make-up: a special prep moisturizer will be applied to make sure your foundation stays perfectly in place all night; waterproof mascara will be applied; extra care is taken during the application to ensure long-lasting make-up; and additional skin illuminating products are used to give your skin an extra bit of glow for your very special event! The same also applies for the hair: speci al products will be applied to make your style stay perfectly in place, but the hair will still look naturally shiny and healthy. Products are also used to give a long lasting effect on the style.

6. If it is required, we will also be there to help you get dressed, because I know Wedding gowns can be quite tricky! I finish off with some final touches to make you look fabulous all over! That includes body glitter, shimmering cream, concealing areas - whatever you require. . We also make sure that your veil is in perfectly, and then we hand you over to the photographer. We basically spend most of the day with you, to make sure when you are ready for your photos - you look perfect!
7. Finally: we travel to wherever you need us to be on the day of the Wedding .
